Due to COVID-19, Unity Project is not accepting in-kind donations of any used or new items. We understand this is a great disappointment to those who love to help in this way, especially by shopping for the goodies that stuff the Santa Sacks we distribute to Unity Project participants staying with us over the holidays.
This year is a little… a lot different. In the past, we would partner with businesses, employee groups, church groups, sporting associations and with individuals and families, to host a fundraising drive collecting items needed.
We can’t do that this year. We ask our community to please convert the value of in-kind donations to a financial gift so that we can purchase what we need, when we need it and have it safely delivered/received. Unity Project commits to support local businesses wherever possible, just as you would have done if shopping for us.
Facebook and PayPal Giving Fund Canada have partnered to make it easy for you to give financially, and accountably with donations going directly to Unity Project’s account. And, your group’s donors receive a charitable tax receipt!
Help us reach our goal to fill 100 Santa Sacks for Unity Project Participants! Here is a safe, fun and virtual way for you to bring real comfort and
