Notice about upcoming events in the wake of COVID-19 

The COVID-19 pandemic has sent waves throughout our community. All sectors, especially ones which serve vulnerable individuals, have been significantly affected. Here at Unity Project, we have worked hard to adapt our emergency shelter to best serve our participants. However, this is not the only area which has been affected by the pandemic.  

Unity Project is fully committed to following recommendations by the Middlesex-London Health Unit, and abiding by policies enforced by the City and the Province. As such, the status of our upcoming fundraisers that we have either organized or are a beneficiary of, is uncertain.  

What we do know is that keeping our physical interactions to a minimum keeps our participants, the community and our staff as safe as possible. Social distancing is and will continue to be a powerful tool in reducing the impact of COVID-19.

  • UPwithART 2020 / 2.0 was a resounding success despite needing to pivot this year’s festivities to online. Event website: www.upwithart.ca

  • Hockey Helps the Homeless is being reimagined in wake of COVID-19. The Canada Life Cup is about bringing Canadian communities together to shutout homelessness. Players will be encouraged to continue their fundraising efforts in support of our partner beneficiaries and all fundraisers will be rewarded with a selection of top tier fundraising prizes including True Hockey Gear, Electronics, Taylor Made Golf Gear and Home Goods.
