Donating publicly traded securities such as stocks, bonds, or mutual funds is one of the most tax-efficient ways to support Unity Project and maximize your impact. By donating securities directly, you may eliminate capital gains tax while receiving a charitable tax receipt for the full fair market value of your gift, as determined in accordance with CRA guidelines. All gifts of securities are sold upon receipt with proceeds directly supporting our programs.

Please notify Unity Project when initiating a securities transfer. Securities transfers can sometimes arrive with limited donor information, making it difficult to identify and acknowledge your gift. Notifying us allows us to monitor the transfer, answer any questions that arise, and issue your charitable tax receipt promptly.
